First up, HOUSE OF SECRETS!
When I think of House of Secrets, I think "groovy" - HoS has a great selection of back issues and graphic novels as well as the newest weekly books. It's a favorite hangout of animators and comic creators - you never know who you'll see there! Make sure you sit on Plastic Man (disguised as a bench!)
More importantly, HoS is staffed by some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet in a comic store: Amy, Eric and Paul who are also huge comic fans. (check out Amy's "Talkin Comics" vlog here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqrZgynMisI)
